The 36 Hours that Saved Central Taiwan from COVID-19

https://english.cw.com.tw/article/article.action?id=2688 Considering the global explosion in the number of new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, Taiwan’s first death from the virus may now seem like a distant memory. But with the benefit of hindsight, the passing of a private car driver on Feb. 15 marked a critical juncture in Taiwan’s battle against the epidemic. I have personally purchased around 20-25 hard drives in the last 10 years ranging from 1.5TB Seagate drives to the 8TB drives that currently grace my systems. That 1.5TB Seagate drive failed and I lost it's entire contents sometime in 2009 and whilst I was not alone it was a hard, but useful lesson I learned that ...
